James O. Featherstone, 60

James O. Featherstone, 60, of Coeur d'Alene, passed away Jan. 14, 2008, at Kootenai Medical Center. He was born Oct. 8, 1947, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Wimer L. Featherstone and Katherine M. Cram.

James attended the school of Unlimited Opportunities in San Bernardino, where his mother was executive director.

He came to Spirit Lake from California in 1972, then moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1991. He participated in the disabled laborer human services training.

James collected keys and key-rings.

James is survived by his mother, Katherine M. Featherstone, of Post Falls. He was preceded in death by his father, Brick Featherstone, in 2007.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 22, 2008, at Coeur d'Alene Homes, 624 W. Harrison Ave. Coeur d'Alene.
