Stanley G. Kreiling
1925-2006
Stanley G. Kreiling, 81, of Cheyenne died Sept. 14 at United Medical
Center-West in Cheyenne.
Mr. Kreiling was born Jan. 6, 1925, in Phillips, Wis.
He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He then
joined the U.S. Army and later the U.S. Air Force, retiring April 1, 1964.
Mr. Kreiling has been a resident of Cheyenne since 1960 and after retiring
from the Air Force worked as a painter for F.E. Warren Air Force Base.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Phillips, the DAV, the
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1881, the American Legion Post 6 and the
Air Force Sergeants Association.
Mr. Kreiling is survived by his wife, Marjorie of
Cheyenne, whom he married Nov. 1, 1948, in Colorado Springs, Colo.; two
sons, Kenneth G. Kreiling of Mead, Colo., and Daniel H. Kreiling of
Cheyenne; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Valentine and Minnie
Caroline Kreiling; four brothers; and one sister.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Monday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes
with the Rev. Roger Aurand officiating.
Interment of the urn will follow at Cheyenne Memorial
Gardens.
Military honors will be provided by the F.E. Warren Air Force Base Honor
Guard.
Friends may contribute to the Disabled American Veterans. |
